Who we are
Brand Coffee Farm
Brand Coffee Farm started end of 2017. Since then a lot has been accomplished. We have planted the coffee, started with our agroforestry approach intercropping with Banana and Macadamia trees and added an additional cash crop vanilla. We have created a water source using a borehole pump on solar and started with a simple irrigation system.
In 2021 we have built a factory/warehouse where we will conduct processing activities. On the roof of the factory we will have additional solar panels to power the pulper/washing machine and provide power for the office, and other rooms.
Our team at the farm consists of Ronald as farm manager and a team of 18 workers who are maintaining the crops.
Tony is our farm consultant who is guiding the team on the ground.
Brand Development Group
Brand Development Group is a social enterprise based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We invest in sustainable projects in and outside the Netherlands. The main focus areas of our investments are:
- regenerative, circular farming concepts;
- involvement of local communities with specific focus on youth and women;
- training and involving local small holder farmers aiming to increase their living standards.
